An evening discussion on neurotechnology, ethics, and society in the MIT Media Lab with a panel including: Anna Wexler, Adam Molnar (Neurable), Ana Maiques (Neuroelectrics), Rachel Conrad (HMS Neuroethics), and Benjamin Stecher (Tomorrow Edition).
I asked the panel about the future of neurotech developing with opensource IP in contrast to its private history with DARPA. The talk discussed responsible innovation as it relates to neurotech entrepreneurs, investors, clinicians, and patients. Precisely, how neuroethics can be integrated into neuroinnovation that concerns brain data ownership, unique BCI consent issues, and ethical implications of performance-, memory-, and personality-altering brain technologies.
BOSTINNO: NucleateDojo House
The co-living space, known as "Dojo House," will host six future biotech entrepreneurs and scientists ages 19-22 this summer as they kick start their careers while participating in workshops, dinners and learning groups among themselves and the Greater Boston life sciences community.
The house is named after and run by Nucleate Dojo, a global program that supports undergraduate and non-graduate students within life sciences with education opportunities, community building and funding. The organization says Dojo House is the first-ever, biotech-focused house for young scientists.

I was joined by the new Vice-President of the University of Toronto and Principal of UTM, Dr. Alexandra Gillespie! Alex is also an internationally renowned researcher, published author, and director of the UofT Old Books New Science Lab. She’s won many awards in recognition of her outstanding teaching and is a Rhodes Scholar!
